سرقة بذور القمح اول سبب حقيقى للحرب على العراق : Stealing wheat seeds is the first real reason for the Iraq war
عندما غزت " مونسانتو " العراق ...
سنتحدث في مجال الزراعة في العراق فيما يخص البذور ..
قبل عام 2003 كان لديهم نظام بذور مركزي .. قام بتطوير أنواع متعددة من كل أنواع القمح المعروفة اليوم .
قام الفلاحون العراقيون بذلك عن طريق حفظ البذور ومشاركتها مع الآخرين وإعادة زراعتها مرات ومرات .
لقد تم تدمير هذا النظام بعد عام 2003 .
مؤسسات البحث العلمي والتطوير الخاصة بالبذور العراقية تم إفساده بشكل ضخم ومنظم تحت العقوبات الدولية والنهب .
كان لديهم بنك للبذور ... كانت فيه بذور تعود لآلاف السنين للمزارعين الأوائل في هذا المكان .. لقد انتهى كل هذا .
الإمكانيات الحالية تدعم 5% فقط من طاقة البذور وذلك في دراسة 2005 .
وحينما جاء بول بريمير إلى العراق بخطة الــ 100 أمر .. ومن ضمن الأوامر التي أصدرها بريمر :
أنه لا يحق لأي حكومة منتخبة أن تغير نظام البذور ما بعد الغزو
وهذه هي الديمقراطية في كتاب أحدهم التي عرفناها في القاموس .
وعلى اية حال فإن القرار 81 مهم لأنه أثر على الزراعة في العراق .
واتخذ القرار إسما قانونيا هو "براءة الاختراعات والتصميم الصناعي وسرية المعلومات والدوائر المتكاملة وتنوع المحاصيل "
ينص القرار 81 على أن المزارعين محظور عليهم استخدام البذور المحمية المذكورة في الفقرات 1 و 2 من الفقرة سي من مادة 14 ....الخ .
الخلاصة أن القرار ينص على أن المزارع العراقي غير مسموح له بحفظ البذور ولا مشاركتها مع غيره ولا إعادة زراعتها .
إذا ... لماذا فعل بول بريمر هذا ؟!! .
دعوني في البداية أحكي لكم قليلا عن مونسانتو ...
مونسانتو لديها بذور متناهية ... بذور معدلة وراثيا بحيث لا تحمل البذرة حينما تنتج بذرة جديدة بداخلها فلا يمكن إعادة زراعتها .. وهو ما يرغم المزارعين على الإعتماد على الشركات لمدهم بالبذور كل عام لزراعتها .
شركة مثل مونسانتو ودو الكيماوية وكارجل لديهم جميعا مصلحة هنا لأنهم الشركات الوحيدة التي تملك هذه البذور أو تملك الكيماويات المصنعة لها .
وهذه الشركات أيضا بحاجة إلى أرض ... أو معمل تجارب إذا أحببت تسميتها لتجرب عليها وعلى شعبها ألعابها الجديدة .
فتم تعيين مدير الرئيس السابق لشركة كارجل دانييل آرمستوتز كمستشار زراعي في العراق في 2003 وهو ايضا موظف سابق في إدارة الأغذية الأمريكية .
معرفة ذلك اصابتي بالصدمة وتعرفت جيدا معنى أن الشركات العابرة للقارات في كل المجالات كالنفط والزراعة ومرتزقة الحروب ...
الأمر كله عبارة عن منافع للشركات .. هذه الشركات تقتات على الأوضاع المأساوية لتروج لمنتجاتها وتحقق مصالحها .
تحول العراق إلى معمل تجارب للقمح المعدل وراثيا وطبعا لن يفرق الخطر القادم بين سني وشيعي وغيره من الطوائف فالكل في المصيبة سواء .
لقد أعطوا المزارعين العراقيين ستة أنواع فقط من القمح .. ثلاثة منها مخصصة لعمل المعكرونة .. والعراقيون عادة لا يأكلون المعكرونة .
تخيل أن أمة تموت من الجوع يتم منحهم محاصيل نصف هذه المحاصيل الغرض منها التصدير للخارج وليس سد جوع الداخل .
ومن الذي سيربح من وراء هذه التجارة .. ليس العراقيون !!
العراقيون مجرد فئران تجارب في هذه المعادلة ...
وعلى الرغم من نقص الغذاء في العراق بشكل هائل وإعلان الإنذار ... فإن النظام الغذائي المعمول به منذ 1990 مستمر..
والفضل في هذا الإنجاز اللإنساني يعود للبنك الدولي وصندوق النقد الدولي .
هذا يعني إرغام الأمم على الموت جوعا حتى يكون مصيرهم في أيدي الشركات التي تتاجر بهم .
We will talk in the field of agriculture in Iraq in terms of seeds ..
Prior to 2003, they had a central seed system, which developed various types of all wheat varieties known today.
The Iraqi farmers did this by keeping the seeds and sharing them with others and replanting them several times.
This system was destroyed after 2003.
The scientific research and development institutions of Iraqi seeds have been extensively and systematically destroyed under international sanctions and looting.
They had a seed bank ... it had seeds that went back thousands of years to the early farmers in this place.
Current capacity supports only 5% of seed energy in the 2005 study.
And when Paul Bremer came to Iraq with the plan of 100 orders .. Among the orders issued by Bremer:
No elected government has the right to change the post-invasion seed system
This is democracy in the book of one of them that we have known in the dictionary.
In any event, Resolution 81 is important because it has affected agriculture in Iraq.
The resolution adopted a legal name, "patent inventions, industrial design, information confidentiality, integrated circuits and crop diversity"
Resolution 81 states that farmers are prohibited from using protected seeds mentioned in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 14, paragraph C, etc.
The conclusion is that the decision stipulates that the Iraqi farmer is not allowed to save the seeds or share them with others and not re-plant them.
So ... why did Paul Bremer do this? !! .
Let me first tell you a bit about Monsanto ...
Monsanto has finite seeds ... genetically modified seeds that do not carry seeds when they produce new seeds inside them can not be replanted. This forces farmers to rely on companies to feed them seeds every year to grow them.
A company like Monsanto, Dow Chemical and Cargill all have an interest here because they are the only companies that own these seeds or have their own chemicals.
And these companies also need a land ... or lab experiments if you like to name it to try it and its people new games.
Cargill's former chief of staff, Daniel Armstutz, was appointed as agricultural consultant in Iraq in 2003 and is also a former employee of the US Food Administration.
Knowing this I was shocked and knew well the meaning that transnational corporations in all fields such as oil, agriculture and mercenaries of war ...
This is all for the benefit of companies .. These companies are taking care of the tragic situation to promote their products and achieve their interests.
Iraq has turned into a laboratory for genetically modified wheat and of course will not differentiate the next danger between Sunnis and Shiites and other communities, all in the disaster either.
They gave Iraqi farmers only six kinds of wheat. Three of them are for pasta. Iraqis usually do not eat pasta.
Imagine a nation dying of hunger being given half of these crops for export, not hunger.
And who will win from behind this trade .. Not the Iraqis !!
Iraqis are just test mice in this equation ...
Despite the enormous lack of food in Iraq and the announcement of the warning ... the diet has been in force since 1990.
This humanitarian achievement is due to the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
This means forcing nations to starve so that their fate is in the hands of the companies that trade them.
